Women's Health Clinic

As a woman, getting regular checkups and preventive screening tests are among the most important things you can do to maintain your health. As you go through various life stages, from starting a family to experiencing menopause, your health needs will change.

The Alberta Heartland Primary Care Network has developed several programs that address health promotion and disease prevention for women in all stages of life.

Calling all women...Your Health Matters

Women need regular health screening, especially for cervical and breast health. Regular screening is the best defence against cancer and other women’s health problems. In particular, cervical cancer is mostly preventable...but only if it is detected early.

The Women's Health Clinic provides a women-centered approach to care that gives women the opportunity to achieve, sustain and maintain their health. The clinic is run by a Nurse Practitioner and provides:

  • Health screening
  • Pap smear testing
  • Breast exam
  • Birth control information

Format: Clinics are held twice a month. Appointments are available. Walk-ins are welcome.

Cost: Free!
